Hello and pardon me for jumping in.
I percieve from the above remnants of this post that this person _has_
been reading the KJV for only the KJV translation tells us to study it,
right? The others ( NIV, NKJV, NAS, ASV and others) tell us to be
diligent (work hard) and we will be accepted.
My native tongue is english. Since I do not find myself capable of
second guessing the great men who brought us to where we are now (the
oneness of God, our Apostolic doctrine etc.) I believe the bible they
used, the KJV, is good enough for me. 
I have a book written by Gail Riplinger titled "New age versions of the
Bible" that goes into much detail concerning the newer translations.
Brothers, (and Sisters), you might be surprised what is in those new
bibles! Westcott and Hort, the principle re-translaters of the greek
text in the 1800's were members of a "new age" group. (and we thought it
just happened this decade!) Many of their changes made "Jesus" into
lord, and changed much of the original meaning. This text has been used
in ALL of the new translations. It is possible to read many new
translations and never come to believe that it is Jesus being discussed
since "lord" is used many times when "Jesus" should be.
(If your native language is not english I believe you _should_ have a
bible in your language)
