Saying that the KJV is the only true Word of God does make things a bit
simpler for the Christian I suppose, and decreeing that
"interpretations" must be in some psuedo-olde-English makes the task of
"discernment" and little less complex (I suppose the Book of Mormon
must be authentic since Joseph Smith wrote it in his version of
fake-archaic-English), but life and the Christian walk is not a
simple matter!
Steven asks about this part:
"but life and the Christian walk is not a simple matter!"
It is simply a matter of faith, was our God able or not able, to deliver
his word to us written? Wasn't it said somewhere "believe only" (Luke
8:50)
Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not
pass away.
I firmly stand on the KJV as being the "Word of God" Jesus said in; Mat
11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. So then easy, to me
is simple. Trust that the Lord has delivered His word to us in the KJV.
Whose report will you believe? I am a live overcoming christian, follow
me as I follow Christ!
Get the word in you, memorize the KJV, and watch your faith increase!
You will find that satan doesn't like the sound of that, at all. When he
comes at you, give him the word against that situation.
Learn to as 2 Cor 10:5 says, Casting down imaginations, and every high
thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing
into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
If we don't have a data base of the "Word of God" in our hearts, how
will we know what to cast down?
Your servant for Jesus sake

PS One of our greatest difficulties is not obeying the scripture, 1 Pet
5:7 says; Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Indeed we should as Prov 3:6 says: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and
he shall direct thy paths.
Let share the easy yoke of the Lord.
