I thought this discussion was concluded a month or so ago. I did an
explanation on the criticisms of NKJV, NIV, ASV, and others showing that
many of the so called "changes" are actually synonymous terms. 

The KJV inserts "italics" to bring clarification to verses. If anyone is
going to be firm that KJV is the correct translation, in reality, they
should cross out the italicized words or get a Bible without italicized
words. See how silly this is. 

I use NKJV personally along with KJV and NIV. I have not seen the Deity of
Christ abolished from these versions. As a matter of fact, these versions
emphasize the Deity of Christ where the KJV doesn't emphasize as strongly in
certain verses. A comparison is available upon your request.
