You want an excellent book that refudiates the 95 date read Kenneth
Gentry's "Before Jeruselem Fell"  A very good work presented to shew the
falacy of the 95 date and give  validation to the history presented in
the Apokalypsis!  

You may also want to look at Rev. 17:10 another clear reference to the
time of writing.  
..there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is
not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

First, we find five are (past tense of John's writing) on is (present
tense of John's writing) and the other is not yet come(future tense of
John's writing).  Giving some study to the Ceasarean Succession you will
find that the "one that is" refers to Nero, called by his comtemporaries
as the BEAST!  Interesting is it not!
