Brother Daniel asked for the source of my posting revelation.
Obviously the the source of the theory I posted was my own reading of the
King James Bible (like most ya'll that's the book I read most), and I
cannot say I am aware of others would read the same scriptures, I have not
looked it up, nor do I know of anyone who would agree with me.

(disclaimer done.)

I think what brother Daniel was asking was where did get the information
about the traditional theory. There are several discussions of Irenaeus
of Lyon available. For his role in dating Revelation and associating the
author with the author of Gosples see The Anchor Bible dictionary look up
Revelation: Book of, subtitle author. For Iranaeus' role as early
advocate of Catholic traditionalism read volume one of "The Christian
Tradition" by Jaslov Pelikan.

Further disclaimer

The dictionary cited blindly accepts Irenaeus' dating, and based on theory
of the use of the Babylon makes the claim that not only must Revelation
have been written after the year 70, but so must have First Peter.
Pelikan defines belife in God acting in three modes as an early
"trinitarian formulation" which he belives should now be discarded.

After reading many such sources, I conclude if it's okay to
believe Peter wrote the book with his name on it (which most of us do),
it's okay to take Revelation 11:1-3 as litteral prophesy (although I
doubt many do.)

	I little volatile, I guess.

"the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
