The Claim of Having "All God's Truth"

Brethren, the Lord is good and faithful and able to help us in all
things. I was in prayer this am about many things, and as usual this
list came up. The Lord gave me a better understanding (or at least a
better way to rehearse them to the list) of a few things and I hope that
I can clear up a previous misstatement.

It has been stated that I (personally) and Apostolics (generally) claim
to possess 100% of God's Truth. Now in my heart I knew that was wrong,
but I never could convey what I really feel. But a more accurate way to
state this would be that my beliefs are 100% supported by the Word of
God. My beliefs may not be all the truths, but the ones I have are bible
based on the teachings of the church fathers (sometimes referred to as
the Apostles). Now if one could show me in the Bible that I had a
problem then I would search for the truth, this is a never ending
process and one that Paul exhorts us to many times.

Another item that has been asserted is that I am Apostolic because I was
baptized in the name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost with evidence
of speaking in other tongues. Well I am saved because of that, I am a
Christian due to my daily attempt to follow Christ. But I call myself an
Apostolic not because of my experience, but because I follow the
Apostles doctrine. I know many that have the same experience as I that
have left the church (either going to no church or another church). Now
these people are no longer Apostolic by my definition or theirs. They
are still buried with Him and have or had His Spirit, but they have left
their first love and their first works.

Lord Bless;
Bill
