-Well, this brings up a question I have. Are Christians -to celebrate
-Christmas and Easter since both of these had "pagan -origins"? I know
-of some Holy Ghost filled people who celebrate -Christmas and exchange
-presents. So it is either right or wrong since it has -pagan origins.
-It's one thing to compare the Catholic Church with -paganism, but what
-about Apostolics who celebrate Christmas?

If I can remember correctly, two Decembers ago, t here was tongues and interpretation at church. Everybody was getting caught up in the festivities of the christmas holidays. There were presents, christmas trees, bows, ornaments etc. That sunday evening in church the Lord told us about our participation in the christmas holiday
apparently He was not pleased, either with our undivided attention to christmas or our attitude towards it too much of it and less of Him
But the next day it was as if nothing was said everybody
was going about their holiday spirit as usual. I made a research of this thing. The Lord took me somewhere in the Bible where the women were worshipping Astoreth, the Queen of Heaven, and paying homage to her. The men also did nothing to stop this. God was very displeased.
I called the Catholic Church and asked them who is the Queen of Heaven, they told me Mary. I called the Jewish Synogue and they told me that Christmas, was a celebration of the return of the 'sun' on the 25th of December, after a time of shorten days. I was told that some people went to this country to convert the people there in christianity, they informed the sun worshippers that they can continue with there doings if they accept Christ. This information is nearest to the exact story as I was told. Personally I am not going to offer any gifts to any tree and then give it to people that I know. Recognizing the death burial and resurrection of Jesus is enough to be thankful of His birth.
