Well, M.R.,
If we've done anything on Passover, it has varied from year to year.
It's ALWAYS involved communion, but never a full fledged Messianic
ceremony. We usually bring Exodus 12 into it, and and then flip
over to the Gospels for the story of the real Passover Lamb, which is
the really exciting part! The story in Exodus casts light on the
story of the real Passover Lamb in the Gospels as well as our own
experience.
And where the Holy Ghost can really get involved in the meeting is
when we bring both those accounts out of the Bible and make them real
in the present tense: ...our deliverance from bondage, our true
Passover: the blood being applied...remembering the bitter slavery in
sin....rejoice for what He's done...et. al......He's the Mighty God of
Israel.....Jesus!
"...and I know that He's here now,
standing in our midst...
with the power to heal now...
and the grace to forgive..."
Blessings,
Glenn.
