<< Revival Until He comes

The constant blare of Y2K is enough to make one sick of hearing about world
disaster! I am not writing an article about Y2K but, rather using it as a
tool, or in comparison to what is really happening. No, I don't really have
a
clue about the problems (if any) that may occur, on January 1, 2000. But, I
do know of some problems that are taking place right before our eyes. This
world is stirred up about all of the events that have transpired in the past
few months and what will come about in the next 10 months. It seems that the
Church, in times past would be the one to sound the alarm when any type of
disaster or prophecy was about to occur. Today, it is the world that is
sounding the alarm. Loud & clear, they state that "Something is about to
happen." Read your newspaper, listen to secular talk shows (on the radio),
this world is alarmed by the events that are happening and about to happen.
What is the church doing? I really don't know what most churches are doing,
but I know that I personally have not done enough. I have not yet taken
advantage of this golden opportunity that may never come again. People have
never been this hungry, or interested, in the history of this country. 200
have received the Holy Ghost at my church in the past 3 weeks! (Revival
Center
UPC of Modesto, Pastor Randy Keyes.) Many people have been coming to our
church without being invited or without any contacts in the church. One lady
had been praying for the truth. One day she opened the Yellow Pages and to
her amazement, out of all the other churches, our church stood out to her.
The same day, she came to our church and God filled her with Baptism with the
Holy Ghost. (No church service, or altar call was going on, she just had a
hunger, and that is what lead her to the real experience of the plan of
 salvation.)

The reason that I am writing this lengthy letter, is to express on paper
(via
e-mail), what is going on in our world, in our church, and to personally tell
you that I am stirred up (fired up) about what was preached last night.
Evangelist (also pastor in San Francisco) Mark Morgan, preached at our church
last night a message entitled, "Be there." He used the text in Eccl. 3:1,
and
explained seasons and times are set in there divine order by God. When it is
season or time for it to happen, it will happen, you just have to "Be there"
to be a part of it. I get tired of hearing preachers get up and say that
revival is on it's way, this is the season that has God chosen, to be the
greatest harvest of souls. If your not having it, you can have it, just be
there! Be where? In the middle of Red Hot End time Revival! How? I don't
have a program, or flow charts, to explain how to have revival. I only know
that this world is hungry and if we don't do something about it, this Season
is going to pass. If you want it, Pray harder that you have ever prayed,
Fastmore than you have ever fasted, Give more money to the church than you
have ever given and Witness to more people than you have ever witnessed to.

In a wide-read charismatic magazine, a man that is well known, has stated
that he plans to sweep across North America, holding meetings or crusades.
He
will start in New York City. The Madison Square Garden will be rented for
this first meeting, costing him the small price of 18.3 million
dollars............. oh, but that is just one city, he plans to go to
Houston,
Miami, San Francisco, and other major cities. One crusade, in one city is
costing him more than what our organization gave to missions last year. That
makes me sick! No doubt we want to reach the world, but when someone starts
talking about money, down goes our faith to accomplish the task of fulfilling
the "Great Commission." When God inspires leaders to take a special
offering,
people in the back start mumbling "money, money, money ... why does he always
talk about money?" It is going to cost us millions to do what we want to do,
but that is no big thing in the eyes of God. In the church that I attend, God
has moved upon us to give more that we have ever given. Many have emptied
out
there checking accounts, savings accounts and wallets, to see world
Evangelism. One women that is single, had hardly a dime to her name, was
blessed and just gave a $100,000 offering. A man in our church who owned a
floral shop that was very prosperous,(worth hundreds of thousands of dollars)
sold his shop completely and gave every dime to our church. No one begged
him
to do this, no one pleaded, he gave it on his own. Giving is a prerequisite
for End time Revival. So, if we will not let anybody out do us, we can reach
this world. We can give! I have always wanted to give a $1,000 offering,
well, a couple of weeks ago I wrote out a check for 1,000 dollars (please
don't think I am bragging). I am just tired of seeing false doctrine being
propagated further that the truth. I think if we put our money where our
mouth is we will see this world reached. This is the season, this is the
time,
this is our day, but you are going to have to "Be there" to have it.

If cars, boats, vacations and other temporal items, take the place of
revival, we have a problem. If we spend more time online, in chat rooms,
than
we do in our closet on our knees, we have a problem. Revival is not
happening
on accident. It is not just evolving, I can guarantee you that those who are
having it, have been: fasting, praying, giving, witnessing and doing what
ever
they can do to reach this world before the "age of the Gentiles" is over. We
are racing the Rapture, this is our day. Think about it, if this is not it,
when will it happen, and what will make it happen?

Please do what ever you can to reach a soul.
****This is not a chain letter****, but please send this to your friends
that
really want revival, it may be a key to unlock their faith.
