Bro. Moore put forth:
>We who..... Time to End...
>
>I resent the fact that some on this list feel that they know where any
of the
>moderators stand. You are wrong, we may totally disagree with Brother
>Starcher, and yet know that in God, he has the right to be respected in
Chist.

If you resent it, you should not have told me. I don't feel I know...I
know what you have told me in many emails...my question was to get a
feel for the list as a whole. You see if the list is predominately
opposed to my beliefs then I will do as a few here desire and do less
posting...other wise I will continue.

I never made a statement of where you stand, just that I know....as far
as being respected in Christ...what about the conservatives...do we not
deserve a say, do we not have a voice or are we supposed to just accept
the new ways and be happy?

>Brother Clifton;
>The reason, that they may not have ask us to come back, is our approach
of
>superior knowledge that we may or may not have.

Well maybe in some case...but ya know in the one I was in I just asked
about baptism. I was very young in the Lord and was courious...no
approach of superior knowledge, just a question. Maybe it was that THEY
had a problem and THEY did desire to get into the Word. But then again
it probably was an issue with a fundy conservative apostolic.

>Brother Clifton, you dont know my position on anything.

Then what did you tel to me in November!

>For you have not asked what I personally believe.

Actually that was what I asked and your reply very detailed and I
thought I understood.

>I have on this list been very neutral, and open to all points of view.
I KNOW that the other
>moderators have also. We have tolerated the Liberals, Moderates, and
>Conservative, why, because they all add value to the Body.

I sense a attitude of defensiveness...I made no attack. I just was
courious as to the make up of the list. You see, I know many
conservatives that have left because of what they felt was the lists
slant to liberalism and its allowing attacks upon the conservatives. In
fact, a very dear friend told me to stay away from the list due to his
understanding of my views and a long envolvement with the list (he had
left). So what I was wondering was if there were any that agreed with
me/us or if we were alone in the stance we have taken! No offence meant.

>If you think that Brother Starcher has no purpose, O know of one soul
>that he has influenced to live an Apostolic life. The person was
telling
>about this rock of faith, as I listened, finally asked who he was
talking
>about. It turned out to be Steve. So there is a purpose for that all on
the
>name of the Lord, talking about Apostolic. There are some that need to
>LIVE it hard. There are some that are very self-disciplined, not
needing
>the 2x4 approach.

Oh...I never ever doubted he had purpose and this statement (with the
"you do not know me") makes me wonder if you remember at all the private
emails we had last November.

Let me clue you in....when he starts telling me what I should be doing
and who I should call brother and who
is and is not a Christian...I will call him out on whose authority he is
trying to instruct me under or speak for me in. Just like if a Pastor
gets in an area that I feel is out of line with the Bible; I will sit
down and discuss it in the Word. I tried to get into the Word and get
away from this...but I was told that I would be ignored.

>The bottom line is, you as a group do not REALLY know what we as
>moderators believe.

As a group no...but I have had enough convos with you (and the rest of
the Moderators) where you have laid it out that I thought I
knew...unless it has changed. But that is really not the issue...the
issue I had was with the group and if I misstated something or was
presumptious or caused any hard feelings I truly appologize. I just
plain and simple wanted to know the attitude of the rest of the list!

>We are being true to the calling of apostolic discussion.
>I am speaking for me, I will not allow any one group to pull the group
one
>way or the other. We will allow all that are apostolic to come here,
feel
>at home, and write what they believe.

As it should be....

>If any one group want to question that belief with civil conversation,
then so be it.

Agian I have tried and never been answered and now am ignored...so what
do I do. I do not agree with the stance he takes and now I feel that I
should not question him about it!

>If it gets uncivil then I for one am for removing the offending
conversator.

Sounds good....this it the third of forth time this has been mentioned
and I think that all understand it. I know I do and since you addressed
it to me I will take it as a warning and tell you that it is duely
noted. I am not going to get uncivil, I will not lower myself to that.
But at the sametime I can not just sit here and allow the beliefs that I
held so dear to be down played. And I will not be told what I should do
and think by a man that has no authority to do so.

>Not the one that is posting what he believes.

That is what I try to do.....

Lord Bless;
Bill Clifton
