OK, its been a while since I said who I am and what I do, so here
goes... 

I am Bob Brown, 48 years old, married, with one daughter, aged 16.  I
am an independent consulting computer scientist.  My business is
Elijah Laboratories Inc., whose server is also the host for the Higher
Fire archives.  I live in Grayslake Illinois, an extreme northwest
suburb of Chicago.  I attend the United Pentecostal Church of
Schaumburg Illinois, where Jack Yonts is my pastor.  I hold local
license with the UPC, and I am active in nursing home ministries and
in teaching home Bible studies.

I am currently involved in holding services at two nursing homes,
where we have seen five people filled sith the Holy Ghost.  Imagine
baptizing an eighty some odd year old partially paralyzed stroke
victim!  I have also baptized a 19 year old muscular dystrophy patient
who could not move more than a finger.  It doesn't matter, as God
wants to see tham all saved, young or old, sick or healthy.

I am also teaching 2 home Bible studies right now: one to a retired
man who came into church by way of his gangster grandson who came and
received the Holy Ghost and told his old drunkard of a grandpa, and
another to a young engineer from India who was a Hindu when I met
him.  He now has the Holy Ghost and has even changed his name to a
"Christian" name.

I also like to "praise Him on the instruments".  I play keyboards and
baritone saxophone.  My favorite keyboard is the Hammond organ.  Since 
my wife is an excellent singer, most of my playing in church is to
accompany her.
