My personal practice has been to invite them in for discussion. As you
said not to contribute money to false doctrine but an individual in need
being different, I tend to look at this in the same way, that the person
coming to the door is an individual in need. I may be wrong, but this has
been my practice.
I wonder if this "recieve him not into your house" meant anything about
preaching, seeing as they used to have church in their homes?
