ADMINISTRIVIA: Why no messages on weekend

Tyler and I received a few inquiries about the list being
down over the weekend.  Here's the explanation.

Recall that H-F is a moderated list.  Every message you see
coming from the list must be approved by either Tyler or me.
We receive it in our e-mailbox, read the message, then either
approve the message or discard it.

Tyler and I take turns doing this, switching off every couple
of days or so.  Both of us do this during the day -- from
about 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  I *had* been logging in on Saturday
evenings to approve messages to H-F, but with the loss of just
about everything I own -- including my computer equipment --
in my house fire last month, I have been unable to do this.

So, any messages sent to the H-F list on the weekends will pile
up until Monday morning.  Any messages posted in the evening
won't be distributed until the following morning.
