Tyler,
	Very good! :)
Beings that I was raised (for the most part) in Alaska, that first part was
pretty true!
A friend of mine was in Seattle a few years ago enjoying the spring weather.
While his wife was in a mall shopping, he was outside in T-shirt and jeans
soaking up the sun. A couple of older ladies walked by him to enter the
mall and were discussing how their fingers were frostbitten it was so cold!
They were wrapped in heavy coats, mufflers, gloves, etc. Steve (my friend)
did all he could to keep from laughing out loud!

As for the second part, well, all I can say is that on the homestead, all we
had was a "outhouse". We didn't have plumbing or running water. Dad had a
brainstorm about putting an electric heater in the "john" to get it warm for
Mom and my sister.
Can you imagine what it was like after it was glowing in there for a few
minutes????
Also, since there is a heavy frost, ........................................
...........:) hehe
I better quit, but there is lots that could be told about homesteading up
here.

Richard,
Now why did I find this so very funny???????
"The Church bus has a block heater which is really handy to have. For you
Southerners, a block heater heats and circulates the oil."

God bless you all!
Mike
