                                  BUZZARDS
Genesis 15:11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram
drove them away.
Have you ever started to pray, only to have your mind wander to
other things-- anything other than what you were praying about? Sure you
have! I'm no different than you.
Abraham was faced with a similar situation. The buzzards kept trying
to *steal his sacrifice* off his altar. He kept driving them away.
When our thoughts begin to wander while we are trying to pray, we have
to *rope 'em in*, as the cowboys say.
Sometimes it seems so futile, for there are so many things that want
our attention. But persistence does pay off-- the Lord helps us when we
try diligently to ward off the intruding thoughts.
It probably is true that when the * buzzards * are the thickest, it
is when the *need * to pray is the greatest.
The Lord may be depending on you to fight off the * buzzards * and
pray the matter before you through to victory.
Don't let them devour your sacrifice. The answer will come, if you
are persistent.
             God Bless!
