Bro. Haymon,
I'm so sorry about your voice! We kind of know how you feel. My 15 year
old daughter who is quite a quality singer found out in December that she too
had nodules and polyps. The doctor said they were pretty large and had been
there for quite a while. Yesterday we went back and found out they've gotten
bigger. Probably because she hasen't exactly followed the doctor's orders to
be quiet (try to keep a lively 15 year old female quiet for 10 minutes let
alone 3 months). It's kind of sad really but we know that the Lord knows what
He's doing and we trust Him fully. Nodules are a common thing for peachers
and singers. I know many *very good* preachers who have developed nodules. I
know others who have been healed from nodules too. We will keep you in
prayer! God is the healer! May he bless you with a wonderful healing!
By the way, Joy has an audition a week from Sunday at Los Angeles
High School for the Arts at the Cal State L.A. campus. It's a wonderful
opportunity for her and should she make the audition, she'll have college
credits by the time she graduates from high school. It's all very exciting
for her and her dad & I but we just want God's perfect will. Please keep that
in prayer if you would. Thanks! Another exciting thing for us is that we
heard from Bro. Gary Ellis who is a UPC minister in Tennessee. He's has a
beautiful singing voice and has a tape out that has sold out at headquarters
3 or 4 times. Well we found out he's going to record 3 of our songs on his
next recording. 1 of the songs Joy and I co-wrote titled "He Gave Me A Reason
To Sing" (guess what trial brought that on) and the other 2 were given to me
by the Lord, titled "Love Shine" and "Glory To God". This is really
exciting for me because these songs have only been done at our church in
Bellflower and my Brother's in Law's church in Arizona. I've always hoped
that they could get out there and bless some others. I pray that they will be
completely annointed because without the annointing we are nothing. This I
know without a doubt! "Let your love shine through us Lord! Let them see
you in us" God bless you!
  Love, Laurie Gibson
