Mike Endsley suggested that I introduce myself to the HIGHER-FIRE family.
Park4864@mailclerk.ecok.edu suggested I just start talking-- about myself.
Pearl, my wife of 57 years, and I are each 77 years old. We started our
Pastoral Ministry in Dec of 1939 in The Dalles, OR. We had just turned 21 at
the time.
We went for more training to the BIG DOWNTOWN MISSION at ninth and Broadway
in Oakland, CA. Bro. Harry Morse had a Missionary Training Home in
conjunction with the Mission.
We did over thirty years of Pastoring until my deafness forced us to
re-direct our ministry to radio and writing.
We now edit and mail a monthly Bible centered "letter" to our relatives,
friends, and perhaps a few enemies. :-)
At Christmas 1994, my children put me on America On Line. This opened up an
entirely new field of endeavor.
I started sending tidbits of Bible truths to a few folks whom I found that
were interested. The list has now grown, by word of mouth, to about 90
people each week.
It is "Bread on the Waters."
I throw it as far as I can, and the morsels have been very well received.
Some of them are now being gladly received here on HIGHER-FIRE.
Like the comic strip WASH TUBBS of many years ago-- "Oh Boy! I aint mad at
nobody." I simply want to help as many as I can, as much as I can, as often
as I can.
We live in Yakima, WA. 98902 902 So 11th Ave
God loves you, and I do too.
