I haven't had time to follow this thread, but I thought I'd just throw in
my 2 cents. I have known people that were on medication for depression, and
I found that they were much worse off while they were on the medication
than after they got off. I have one friend in particular who couldn't get
up in the morning and was in and out of the hospital for depression. When
she got off the pills and started PRAYING everyday and got active in church
she lost weight, starting sleeping right, and is living in downright
victory!

My husband and I are both in the process of getting emotional healing and
we go through times of depression and anger as the Lord heals us. What
drugs do is suppress unresolved emotional pain and anger so the person
doesn't feel them, but that doesn't resolve the real problem. When the
emotions come up you have to DEAL with them in prayer. You have to stack
pillows on top of your head and cry and scream and pound the floor until
JESUS takes all those negative emotions. You have to get so sick of
hurting that you FORGIVE those that have abused you and give up your rights
to bitterness.

Praise the Lord who is the healer of broken hearts!

Love,
Rachel
