Sis. Elizabeth,
I can understand exactly what you're going through.  My father passed 
away with cancer last year.  During this time, it was an emotional roller 
coaster for my entire family.  The devil would have you believe that God 
is not able to do the work that needs to be done, but he is a liar and 
the father of lies.  You trust and believe God, for He is able to do 
exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the 
power that worketh in us.  You have a brother here in NC who is praying 
for you and your family.  You be encouraged, because the God we serve is 
able.  God bless.
