Its time to gather the Straglers

Greetings and Salutations,

May God Bless You all this beautiful day that he has Made.  You know, I have been 
thinking, If there was ever a time to get right, Now is the Time.  The other day I was 
coming home early, and I saw some of our Young People that I had not seen in a couple 
of Weeks.  I turned around in the middle of the Intersection and followed them into a 
gas station.  They obviosly did not want to see me right then.  

Turns out one of them has been gone for a while, and the other had been gone for over 
a month.  (Wow)  I talked them for a little while, and found that one of them had just 
lost his job, a good job, and he was all bummed about it.  After they got through 
complaining about life and All thier troubles, I calmly looked at them, and said " 
Their is no rest for the Wicked..."  I smiled and told them that what they can expect 
outside of church.  They smiled back, and we laughed.

I looked at them and told them," I was in your shoes one time, and I ran into an old 
lady at my church, and she looked at me and said, Scott I love you, and because that I 
am going to pray for God to put rocks in your bed."   I looked at them, asked them 
what they would like for me to pray to be in their beds, Rocks, Stickers or Scorpions, 
and they chose Rocks.  

It seems their seems to be a plague of indifference sweeping across the land.  
Indiffence to the Message, Indifference to faithfullness, Indiffernce to Leadership.

THis leads to the Pointing Finger, The Critical Tongue, The Negative Attitude.

I wish that I had an antidote to this scurge.  I have seen really close friends of 
mine to just seem to fall away.  I go an talk to them, and they are disconnected from 
reality,  It makes no Sense.

God is the Only one that Can Wake them.  It may be the Husks of the Swine, the 
catasrophe of family, Only God KNows what will wake them from thier zombie state.

But we as the People of God, Need to offer a helping Hand, Praying knees, and a heart 
that can be sensitive to the Leading of God.  If we will do what we can do, God will 
do what only he can do.

Its time to gather in the Straglers, Its time to batten down the Hatches, Stoke the 
Flames of Revival, And see what God Will do when we do All that We can do.
