I believe that Jesus' disappointment was in their faithlessness. He'd been
with them all this time, performing miracles they could see with their own
eyes yet, they were on His case because He wasn't there to keep Lazrus from
death or sickness. Where was"their" faith to see Lazrus healed when he was
sick?  Soon they would be on their own and Jesus wouldn't physically be with
them. Would they be able to carry our the Lord's wishes to command healings
in His name? For this they needed fiath. So many times in the Word we see the
Jesus was disappointed in faithlessness. This tells me that faith must be a
pretty important element in our lives. Just my few cents worth. Good question
