You should read several back issues of EndTime magazine, or at least
visit their website.  This has ben several years in the making.  I
have been following it since 1988, and I beleive that the negotiations
with the Brother in Bro. Dillion's church began around 1991, and were
consumated last year.  I am not sure about the dates, but you could
also visit the Temple Faithful web pages in Isreal.  The URL for all
these sites has been posted to Higher Fire in the past, so you can use
Alta Vista to search the Higher Fire Archives and get these URLs.

The temple must be serviced by properly sanctified priests who are
cleansed from sin and able to offer sacrifices for the sins of others,
as this is the purpose of a priest.  The high priest must be annointed
to offer atonement, but he must first be cleansed.  He is required to
be cleansed by the waters of purification.  These waters are prepared
by mixing them with the ashes of a sacrifice of a red heifer, the only
female sacrifice prescribed by Old Testament law.  The red heifer must
herself meet certain qualifications: blemish free, not lame, etc.

In order for Israel's temple worship to resume, there must be purified
and sanctified priests to serve in that temple.  These priests must be
purified by the water of purification, which requires the ashes of a
sacrificed red heifer as a critical ingredient.  This, in turn,
requires the availability of a suitably pristine red heifer to be the
object of the sacrifice.

Without a red heifer, there can be no resumption of temple worship,
and hence no purpose in rebuilding the temple.  Of course, the temple
will serve another purpose, as prescribed by prophecy: the Antichrist
will sit on the mercy seat in the temple and procalim himself to be
God.  This is the [second occurance of the] abomination of desolation
spoken of by the prophet Isiaih.  

Since I am a pre-tribulationist, I do not expect to be here when that
happens, but happen nonetheless it will, for indeed "it is written".
