Well, my suggestions on how to change your email address from last
Friday failed miserably.  Even though the listprocessor user card
says a subscriber can do it, evidently doesn't mean that it is
entirely possible.  Prairienet must that particular option switched
off so that people can automatically and easily change their subscription
from one e-address to another.

So.... please disregard last Friday's instructions on changing email
addresses by yourself.  Us owner/moderator types (me and Bro. Richard)
will have to be the ones to do it for you.

Along with DELETING the old account, and ADDING the new account.  There
is such a thing as ALIASING, where your email account may appear to
the listprocessor as several different accounts depending on the method
that you are currently dialed in.  The email will always be sent to the
account that you're signed up as.  When you reply, the listprocessor
will be able to recognize that you are still you even though your email
doesn't come from just one specific address.

Example:

   I'm signed up as tgnally@prairienet.org

   Sometimes I'm telnetting into prairienet's BLUESTEM computer making
   my e-address:    tgnally@bluestem.prairienet.org

   If I answer email from bluestem, the listprocessor could potentially
   reject my post because it's not comming from the login that it thought
   to find me at.   What I do then (as moderator/owner) is to make an 
   alias that actually tells the listprocessor that tgnally@prairienet.org
   might also send email from tgnally@bluestem.prairienet.org and that
   it's o.k. to let that mail go through.

>From what we can tell, this works just fine and is helping out a brother
that potentially the same physical e-address has 3 different forms.  He
has signed up on one.  And the other two are aliases.
