I'm not one of them, but there are a few people doing a good work in
that arena. It is something that takes a *great* deal of patience and
a lot of time. Usenet can be a very hostile environment to work in.

One individual has been very persistant in getting the message of
obedience to Christ out via Usenet. He's quite controversial: he
even has an alt.fan group and there's an FAQ created in his honor.
Plenty of people on this list probably know of whom I speak and might
even disagree with his methods. He has gotten a *lot* of heat from
the net.community for effectively spamming Usenet with his message.

Yet, I've recently been watching somebody from Australia spamming all
the Xtian newsgroups with the, ummm, testimony of our good friend David
Vivas (aka "Super Dave") regarding the United Pentecostal Church, and
I've seen nary a word in protest. So when Winter protests that there's
a double standard in effect, he might be correct.
