Validity of the Bible

Well, showing that prophecy was fullfilled does not prove the Bible
correct, but showing that a Biblical prophecy was not (and cannot be
in the future) fulfilled would disprove the correctness of the Bible.
This is called disproof by counterexample, and is a well established
technique in both math and logic as well as law. We must be very
careful here, since many people would misinterpret a prophecy and then
claim it failed to pan out. Each man's faith is what proves the Bible
true to himself, and that faith is transferred by preaching: "faith
commeth by hearing, and hearing the word of God. And how shall he
hear unless there is a preacher? And how shall he preach unless he is
sent?"
