Someone:
> We do not say that "The Mormons are an occult." That's
akin to saying "Pentecostals are a diverse." It's
semantically wrong and means nothing.
Me:
Cut the brother some slack! We say that the Mormons are "a
cult" and we say "the Mormons are occult." Unless you have
seen it written out it would be easy to make the mistake
"the Mormons are 'an' occult."
Bro. Richard:
> One of my Pet Peeves (tm) that THANKFULLY I haven't seen
in a while is Pentecostals misspelling "Pentecostal" as
PentAcostal. AAAAAAGH! The day of PentEcost is fifty days
after the passover, not five!
>
> PENTA- is FIVE (as in PENTAgon and PENTAgram), while
PENTE- is FIFTY (as in PENTEcost as in FIFTY days after).
Me:
Umm... Yeah, and THIS man once told ME that **I** need
professional help! (; >)
Just kidding Bro. Love ya!
Seriously, I think our witness is actually helped by these
"little" mistakes. Mistakes let people know that WE IS
JUST PLAIN FO'K and not a bunch of high brow elitist!
Or if you prefer: Obsequious manifestations of errancy
convey integuous paradigms of spontaneous genuosity and
nullify the evincing of bombast.
Say that five times with your tongue between your fingers!

Jesus) Litteral
