Brother Parker,

I realize I am coming in a little late on this thread but
when I read your post, it brought me back.

Before I became part of the Church I was very much into 'The
Occult' (or, involved in occult practices and study of occult arts,
if you prefer). I also mingled abuse of drugs with this
(ala Carlos Casteneda, Aldus Huxley and Jim Morrison). I too
believed that with the focus of my mind I could influence those
around me. I was totally convinced that I had this 'power'.
Whether it was real or not is unimporant, the fact that I was
under this truly demonic influence or deception was. I courted
the devil and sought to receive power from him. Modern mind-
meditation techniques are all offsprings of Eastern Mysticism;
and they are in turn doctrines straight from the pits of hell.
The devil shrouds his teachings with new names but it is
still the same old 'Ye shall be as gods' lie.

When dealing with programs, systems or anything that has it's
basis in non-Christian belief, remember this one thing:

"A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump." Galatians 5:9
