Subject: Deuteronomy 22:5
A taught on deut 22:5, this scripture is found in the second law, or
another way ofsaying it is the repretation of it. the first law is found
in Genesis, exodus, leveticus, numbers. to properly understand
deuteronomy 22:5 it is necessary to look at what the first law says
about it. it's really very easy to figure it out if you follow the bible
rule "out of the mouth od two or three witnesses shall every word
beestablished.
leviticus 27:14, Matthew 18:16. now lets look at deuteronomy 22:5-12,
verse / line 12 tells us what the garment looks like, it has fringes of
all four cornors. no lets look in the first law and find the another
scripture that says the same thing. numbers 15:37-41, here too we find a
garment that has fringes on it. it's the prayer shawl. what the
scripture is saying is that a women cannot wear a prayer shawl. the
shawl is garment the has four cornors, and on each cornor there is a
fringe. franges are placed on the four cornors of the prayer shawl
because G-d commanded it. this dose not have reference to pants. the
only one i know that his fringes on his pants is bozzo the clown out of
chicago, and i don't think G-d had him in mind when the Torah was
written. heres the point G-d dose not allow a women to teach the law,see
can however teach the following which are listed in Titus 2:3,4. the
fringes on the prayer shawl represent the 613 commandments in the Torah,
248 positive, 365 negative, the does and don't commandments. this was
carried into the congregation of the saints. 2 Tim 4:13 (the cloke greek
word for shawl) was Paul's prayer shawl. the apostles taught as
jews.when this is understood the subject of hair covering can be easily
understood also. we are born with hair soom more some less. it's
something you can't take on or off when you pray, so it must have
another meaning other then long or short. i recall the hours my wife
used to spend untangling the knots in her hair before i can to see what
this subject is all about. She had hair almost down to the back of her
knees. now lets look at 1 corinthians 11:1-16 note especially verse /
line 16 "but if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom,
neither the churches of G-d." we know paul wore a prayer shawl as well
as all the apostles, they were all jews. we know Yehoshuha wore one also
see Luke 4:14-30. he attended a synagogue as do all devout jews. now a
man can't not only wear a prayer shawl he must also wear a kepa, he
cannot come to G-d in prayer without a prayer shawl, and kepa. in
morning prayer he also wears tefillin, the tefillin confesss his faith
in one G-d. the little black boxes one for the right arm, and one for
the forehead have within them the folowing scriptutre verses / lines
deuteronomy 6:8, deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21 exodus 13:1-10; 11-16. we
at the Hebrew Apostolic Institute Congregation wear what is G-d
commanded and requires. in line with this a women must wear a head
covering. her hair is given to her covering, 1 corinthians 11:15.
to be understood in the light of scripture these two subjects 1 the
prayer shawl and 2 head converings, cannot be seperated, neither can
husband and wife, this is why the first few verses of 1 corinthains 11
starts by showing the relationship between G-d, man, women.
the langht of a womens hair should be beyond the neck line. this is
another subject. write if you want to know more. Shalom!
