Greetings to all members of Higher-Fire:

Brother Brown added to my last post by suggesting that we need to do 
more than pray.  I agree wholeheartedly. 

Perhaps it should be emphasized that part of prayer is listening to the voice of 
the Lord and then obeying what you know to be the will of God.  If you feel to 
pray for the flood victims, then by all means pray. Then get up off 
your knees and obey what the Lord tells you to do about your prayer.  
If you feel the Lord directing you to make some sort of donation, 
then be sure to discuss the matter with your pastor and funnel your 
donation through your local church.

"Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep."
