changing religious belief

Since I have been on HF, I have had to re-evaluate
a few of my stances. I come from a church which
does not force standards that much, so there were
some things in which I did not have stance at all
before seeing them discussed on HF. The wedding
ring conversation awhile back is one of those situations.
While I personally have not concluded which stand to
take, the discussion that was on HF has made me think
it over. Then there is the discussion on self-defense
(ie:protecting your family.) I do not own a gun nor
have I ever really thought about the possibility of defending
myself until this was brought up. When I entered into the
first discussion, I had to do some real deep scripture searching
to find what the Bible says, verses what the Human mind thinks.

So in answer of the question, yes some of the discussions on
HF have in the end made me rethink my views on certain things.
While some call these discussions "debates", because they
can become rather heated at times, I have always found some
type of meat to chew on from EVERYBODY'S opinions.

God Bless,
