I don't have the magazine at my fingertips right now but basically
it talked about how a red heifer has recently been born in Israel. This
red heifer was born to black/white cow and a brown one. This is the
pure red heifer born in Israel for 2000 years, but some question whether
it is pure or not. If it is indeed pure, then in 3 years they may kill
it
and mix the ingrediants for the sacrafice at the temple. As we all know,
the temple grounds are occupied by 2 mosaics. Because the red heifer
has been born, some fear that radicals might blow up the mosaics so they
can proceed in the production of the temple.

Just my own personal sidenote:
If this red heifer is indeed pure, and the proceed with the plans, the
year
2000 might indeed show some interesting things. Either that, or it will
just
fuel the yahoos in the media field. Whatever the case, I am interested
in this,
because I have always been taught that the temple is one of the biggest
signs
we can watch to know that Christs return is soon near! :) :)

To those that asked,
Newsweek is only online through Prodigy, I think. I only have the
magazine
(you know, paper and ink type :P ) and I think it would be some kind of
copyright
infringment to post it on here. I did a search on the web for "red
heifer" and there
are some similar articles about the birth of it online.
