How about another praise report?
My son Ian has been having a pretty continuous discharge from his eyes
for about the past year. Being new parents like we are, my wife and I
didn't think this was considered unusual until some friends started
making some comments about Ian always "crying."
We took him to the doctor, and Ian was diagnosed with having blocked
tear ducts. The eyes lubricate themselves by constantly shedding tears
which are normally drained through tear ducts near the nose. If these
ducts are blocked, the tears instead drain down his face, making it
look like he's always crying. He was scheduled for outpatient surgery
this Wednesday, May 21, to correct this problem.
In the meantime, my wife and I prayed and our church prayed. The
unusual discharges stopped after we prayed specifically for healing.
We took Ian in to the doctor this morning, the doctor asks us "Did you
just wash his face?" We told him no. Dr Bern looked in Ian's eyes,
and could find no evidence of any blocked tear duct and cancelled the
surgery. Praise God! \o/
