Comment: Like any other backslider, Love him, don’t condone or excuse
his sin. But don’t condemn it either, (he knows as well as you
perversion is sin.) God can deliver from perversion as fast and easily
as any other sin. The issue is not which sin he has fallen into but
that he is away from God and needs to repair his relationship with the
Lord and get back in church.
(snip) I guess my biggest fear is that I would approach a person wrong
about the message of Jesus. Anymore suggestions?(snip)
It is a known fact that the majority of the new converts won through
witnessing are won my people who are new converts themselves. These new
convert evangelist don’t know a lot of scripture but one thing they do
know is what God has done for them… The excitement is contagious.
Tell them what you know, your testimony, what God is doing in your
church, how you got the Holy Ghost, how great it is. Etc. "Paul said
something the effect of
"I come to you not with words of wisdom but that which I have seen and
heard"
If we show our selves friendly and tell about our personal experiences
in God.
(which no man can argue). After you won them to you and passed on some
of the excitement of serving God then add some scripture to back up your
experience. People buy because of emotion, but need to justify there
purchase with reason. First just make them want what you have.
Rely on the Holy Ghost to give you words to speak. He will.
