The fact still remains that for many years there were a persecuted group
of persons in this country that simply had a different skin color. The
church is not without these prejudices and still today there are deep
rooted near hatred due to the false teachings of tradition.
I am not for the fury that we saw on this topic in the past, but do
believe it needs to be considered, since it is a revelant subject among
those who visit our churches as much as divorce and marriage.
13 years ago there were hardly any other races in my city except white.
Now we have a major portion of the city that is hispanic and a large
group of "African-Americans" . Again the perception of the society should
not dictate what our approach to Calvary is. To make sure I am not
branded wrongly let me recall again that we were the only whites in the
church where I received the Holy Ghost. Race was not a problem since the
Blood covered us all.
