Oddly enough, Chris, I had always been taught that wedding rings were
perfectly okay... and everyone PLEASE NOTE that I am not making an effort to
raise this issue again...I would just like to make a comment...to Chris...:)

But anyway...the FIRST time I saw anything bad FOR ME..in having a wedding
ring was the day that my wife and I went to the jewelry store to pick one
out....we stood there over that glass case...looking at the wedding rings
and a terrible sinking feeling hit me in the pit of my stomach...We finally
just walked away...I told my wife...who is unbelievably supportive of
me...that I just couldn't do it..it just didn't seem right...and so we
didn't...and now that I know a little more I am glad that we didn't. I have
since met some friends that had a wonderful idea...at least I think it
is...:) They exchanged Bibles...they still have them both...but I just
wanted to mention that...that as far as my life goes...the Lord showed me
something that was even contrary to what I had been taught and did not fully
let me understand why for several years.....How I LOVE to praise His Name...
