It is good to relate here an experience my wife and I had a few years
back. We heard that a Southern Gospel quartet was going to be singing in
a local church. Since it was a "off-night" the Pastor did not have a
problem with us going. We were there early and the Pastor of this other
church himself was going around greeting everyone EXCEPT us. After the
singing we went downstairs to a bake sale or something that was happening
and even when we engaged those nearby in conversation he still did not
even as much as speak to us. I learned a hard lesson and have tried since
then not to let anyone come without a greeting from me. Maybe the
caucasian lady was just not friendly to visitors in general.
