> THE VIALS OR BOWLS
>
> The third series of judgments, which complete the outpouring of divine
>wrath, are the vials (Revelation 16:1-21). Although four of these vials are
>poured out on the same areas as the trumpets, they do not seem to be the
>same judgments.

Why not? They sound nearly verbatim nearly the entire time... and they
definitely end up on the same day...the sixth of each both dry up that poor
old Euphrates...How many times is that dude gonna dry up?

The trumpets begin in the middle of the tribulation and
>depict events during the entire second half of the week.
>The vials seem to cover a very brief period at the end of the tribulation
just prior >to the second advent of Christ.

For what reason...I apologize if questioning these statements so outrightly
is a faux pas of some kind but the vials and the trumpets each have nearly
identical language...they both prepare for armageddon on the sixth and they
both end up at the end with thunders and lightnings and voices and
earthquakes...but this brother makes the statement that they do not cover
the same period...but gives no particular reason...they just....dont...My
only question here is...why don't they? Why do you feel this way...

These bowls seem to have particular reference to
>unbelievers, as they undergo the special wrath of God (16:9, 11), and have
>special reference to the Beast and his followers (16:2).

again....Why?

I sincerely want you to know Brother Copes that I am not trying to be
complicated or hard to get along with...I usually dont even answer posts
like this one. Reason being that I make a statement...you make a counter
statement and I leave it at that...I have stated how I see it and you have
stated how you see and everybody has heard both....so we should all have
enough info to study some more...but these SEEM TO ME....and I could be
wrong...but they seem to me to be blind blanket statements to be taken and
believed on faith that this brother knows what he is talking about...i would
just like to know why he and or you feel this way...what basis is this
assertion built on...
