Black Associations!!

Thank you for reading my posts...

It may have sounded like I only associate with Black people (or whatever
is the "politically correct" term TODAY), but that's not what I meant.

Have you ever looked on a job application, or a credit application, or any
other application, and there's a question that asks your ethnic background?

Lately, I've opted to leave that question unanswered, but in the past I've
always selected whatever they have for people of my racial ethnicity. In
the 70s it was "Negro", then "Black", and now "American of African Descent".

When someone asks (for whatever reason) whether I'm black or white, I
answer "African American". I don't see where it makes any difference what
my ethnic background is, but situations to arise where I may need to
provide an answer to the question.
