I am currently consulting at Lucent, which used to be AT&T's Bell
Labs. They regularly have "diversity" seminars, but I haven't seen
promotion of homosexual behaviour yet. I find it quite amazing that
they require my attendance at these things, and even pay me for my
time. In all fairness, some of these have been exposure to different
nationalities' cultures and even a bit of Eastern religion. One of
them was actually a very good program on sexual harassment, with
concentration on the legal implications for both the worker and the
company. One that I did not attend was on caring for the elderly,
primarily in the home, and when to seek a nursing care facility.
I will keep you all posted if any homosexual issues surface, and
especially how they treated them.
