Frustrated, what to do?

Brother Aaron,
Oh, how I can sympathize with you. People today ARE the most ignorant,
especially with so many different doctrines taught. The only thing that
I have ever been able to do in this case is pray. I have to leave it to
God as an attempt, and ask Him to let me know when it is a better time to
try again. Yes, there have been quite a few times that I also have tried
witnessing and get so frustrated I start shaking.
Another thing you can try to do is offer a Bible study, but let them be
the teacher. Tell them that you want them to show you biblically what
you must do to be saved, and that if you HEAR them, that they must sit
through yours. Often times, you can learn something and so do they.
I do witness to the people that I work with, or people that I meet, and
my family. My family is the worst though because they think the church
has brainwashed me. My mom says it's "just stupid to fast and wear
dresses ALL the time". She won't even let me use scripture with her, and
often times I come home and cry to God about how hard the hearts are in
my family. My grandmother argues that she's read the Bible through twice
and woman wearing dresses or not cutting their hair, BUT she doesn't even
go to church.
Yes, Brother Aaron, we live in a very difficult society where people have
their own ideas and don't feel as though they have to submit to God or
His word and it's sad. Keep prayerful and seek guidance.
God bless you in the name of Jesus Christ,
Sister Carla Smith
