What is the basis of this statement? As far as I can tell "forehead" is
*not*
added by the translators. It is strongs #3359.

Rev 14:9    And <2532> the third <5154> angel <32> followed <190> (5656)
them <846>, saying <3004> (5723) with <1722> a loud <3173> voice <5456>,
If any man <1536> worship <4352> (5719) the beast <2342> and <2532> his
<846> image <1504>, and <2532> receive <2983> (5719) his mark <5480> in
<1909> his <846> forehead <3359>, or <2228> in <1909> his <846> hand
<5495>

Now, concerning "biochip" technology, as an electronic technician I am
somewhat familiar with this technology. One point I would like to make
to make concerning "biochips" and Rev.14:9 is this: all "chips" or
"integrated
circuits" must have *power* to operate. The engineers power these
devices
with a type of rechargable lithium battery. Since these devices are self
contained they must have an internal (onboard) recharging system.
Through
experimentation they have found that the best way to accomplish this is
by using variations in temperature to create a voltage to charge the
battery.
They have found that on the human body there are two places where the
temperature variations are most extreme. The *forehead* and the *hand*.
Also they have found that if these batteries leak or are ruptured that
they
cause an ulcer-like sore to appear.

Rev 16: 2  And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the
mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
