The Deacons are to oversee the church, and if they get a bad pastor, it's
their responsibility to do something about it. Not every pastor has the
flock in mind. Some are just looking out for #1. There are many false
brethren out there, and when one slips in as the pastor, you don't just
leave him there. Nor when a pastor falls, do the rest of the sheep need to
follow him into the ditch. It is possible for the pastor to fall.
