A saint
should never have to *fear* (which isn't a sin anyway) anything. It's
not a
sin to *fear* ...unless the *fear* controls your actions solely (filled
with
fear). Apostolics place the blame of the *influence* of TV on the
device
itself. In a round about way, it's much the same way as saying *love
the
Sinner*, *hate the Sin*. TV is much the same, *love the TV*, *hate TV's
abuse* (as well as any kind of abuse).

TV, as I see it (from the soapbox) is just another tool to be
used...good
...or...bad.(Clip)

Ok Bro. Im not a preacher but climb down off your soapbox and let me up
there!

hmmmmmm Bro. you have an interesting way of thinking… The TV issue is
not about controlling your actions its about SIN.

According to our "ARTICLES OF FAITH" of the United Pentecostal Church
booklet. (Pages 9-10)

"We Wholeheartedly disapprove of our people indulging in any activities
which are not conducive to good Christianity and godly living, such as
theaters, dances, mixed bathing, women cutting their hair, make-up, any
apparel that immodestly exposes the body, all worldly sports and
amusements, and unwholesome radio programs and music. Furthermore,
because of the display of all these evils on television we disapprove
of ANY of our people having television sets in their homes. We
admonish all of our people to refrain from any of these practices in the
interest of spiritual progress and soon coming of the Lord for His
church.

A few years ago we had a big Controversy in California about preachers
who did not want to preach holiness this strong. The one’s who would
not were asked to turn in their licensees with the United Pentecostal
Church. Many did. And we lost them from our fellowship.

I was sorry to see them go. It broke my hart! The group included my
home church, But if a preacher is not rearing Holy Christians it wont
matter any way, sins is sin! And sin wont enter in! Sound hard... Read
the word!

"Follow peace with all men, and Holiness, without which no man shall
see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14)

Folks I know that this is likely to get me flaimed good !,
 but…
Christians DO NOT watch TV.

Any preacher without the intestinal fortitude to preach it is not worthy
of his license and should turn them in. For the lay people, if you dont
want to live it...why not go join the AOG yer taking up space and
paluting others.

As for listening to false prophets to be led into the truth…?

I believe Jesus told the Jew’s in Mat. 23:15

that their proselyte’s (Converts) were "Two-fold more a child of Hell".
Why? Because a person who is won to a false Doctrine thinks they are
saved and its twice as hard to get them to accept the truth when they do
hear it. I would much rather work with someone who is not all
befuddled with half truth’s because first you have to un-teach them the
lies.

As to what I think of the TV Preachers…

Gal. 1:8 is clear. They are cursed.
