I agree.... "TV" isn't sin by itself. It's what's on TV and how it's
used.

Thank you Bro. for fixing my box.
I forgot that not all on Apostolic are UPC, and I understand that
sometimes new converts take time to clean up I was not talking to either
group in my post and I apologize that I did not make that clear..
However I still have a conviction that most folks cannot control the
knob nearly as well as they would have us to believe the potential to
revel in the flesh is inherent in all of us. " I believe Paul said
something to the effect of
" Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in
this world let him become a fool that he may be wise. For the wisdom of
this world is foolishness with God He taketh the wise in there on
craftiness. And again The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise that
they are vain. (1 Cor. 3:18-20)
I have heard all the arguments about how wonderful a tool Video could be
for the church…
it all sound good but… as a result of constant exposure to some of the
things in the world via. There wonderful TV/Video will continue to erode
the moral fiber of our general feeling of what is and what is not sin
is
(1 Tim 4:2) Describes the folks pretty well
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot
iron;
I once worked with a man in the oil refinery, his hands were so …
callused and covered with scars from working with heat exchangers he
could handle parts and tools routinely without gloves that gave me
blisters. Why? Because his nerve endings were so damaged from constant
exposure to high heat he no longer felt the pain. This did not happen
over night. It took years… a little at a time. that is what TV does.
Please. If I sin let me feel the pain so I can correct it. I want to
be saved.
If folks feel they can't live without there one eyed demon… that’s there
business.
If every big wig in the UPC takes up drinking Whisky does that mean its
ok? Nope. Sin is Sin no matter who the perpetrator is.
As for me and my house… We will serve the Lord.
I just want to make it!
