It isn't a *sin* to have the emotion of *fear* occur in a saits life
any more than the emotion of *anger*. Fear is a necessary element that
drives people. People get to work on time because they *fear* being
fired for unpunctuality. People drive the speed limit because they
*fear* that the risk of being in an accident is higher than when driving
at a more moderate speed. People *fear* a burning hot stove. These are
all healthy *fears* that everybody engages in.
But when fear *consumes* a saint... that's a whole different situation.
Then *fear* is what drives the saint and not the saint *controlling* the
feeling of fear.
