I think there is not a single hot issue like the one of TV.
We had some good discussion earlier last year on the internet and our
approach to it. New technology will try again to merge the TV, Telephone
and Internet. The topic won't be on Tv then but "How much bad stuff like
pornography they show on that internet"
I am against TV, but if a saint can't stop from heading to Blockbuster
and renting every movie or buying it at Wal-mart "It was a 'G" then they
may as well have a TV in their house instead of a monitor that the kids
use to watch when they are not there anyway.
It is still not a easy topic. And it gets hard to say we don't believe in
TV and yet you need to watch this cool video. We have lost the edge and
that is sad when the world more than ever needs something more.
I guess it now more boils down to an attitude. Can you leave the silly
thing off for a week and just pray and fast or does it completely control
you? Still the same argument for the Computer... And that was covered in
the archives very well by Bro Bassett.
