Subject: RE: Apostolic Tutorial..
Date: Fri, 22 May 1998 23:10:24 -0500
Robert J:
I think you missed my main point: not everybody runs Windows-95, or
even *ANYTHING* from Microsoft, or even a PC (remember the Macs?).
In
fact, not all PC's and Mac's run their "normal" operating system. I
am running a PC, but it runs Linux, a flavor of Unix. Your winzip
would be useless to all these non-microsoft machines. Many large
corporations run Unix workstations from Sun, Hewlett-Packard,
Silicon
Graphics, etc. With a web page, you can reach *EVERYBODY*!
ME:
OH!!! =-> You're right...missed that one tottally. A friend of
mine who has been visiting a UPC church in Jacksonvillle was so
surprised about how different Apostolics were from what she had been
told and what she perceived. She brought up the idea of making an
interactive tutorial and asked that I put it in Neobook form because
it was so easy to use. It is a lot like the MAC "Hyperstudio".
Personally, I have done webpages before and I couldn't put the time I
wanted to put into them. Now that summer is coming (and you have
offered space on your server), I can put the effort needed to go into
this project. But first, I need my list buddies to give some input.
1)Would anyone out there like to write an article for the tutorial?
2) Does anyone have an idea for the title?
3) Anyone have an idea for a new article?
and:
4) Does anyone think they have a good way to organize the tutorial?

I affirm the biblical foundation for a relationship with God: We are
to turn away from doing wrong, be baptized in the name of Jesus in
accordance with scriptural examples, receive the marvelous gift of
the Holy Spirit, and embrace a daily walk with Him. (See Acts 2:38)
