Dear Sister Anneliese,

Thank you for your post and the opportunity to clarify myself. I
apologize if this was taken personally as I didn't mean it as a personal
slight against yourself. I was basically replying to Bro. Starcher in
reference to his reply and am not sure if I even read your questions.
This statement was meant to be taken as a simple factual statement and
not all encompassing. There are other reasons people ask these
questions, such as your desire for deeper faith. I was simply trying to
illustrate that not everyone who asks these type of questions has the
right motives for doing so.

I think the general consensus is that there are definite problems in the
Apostolic movement just as you have stated above. I also think there
needs to be change as I have observed many of the same things you have.
However, the controversy comes in how to implement this change. I do not
know where you stand in how to implement this change but I have to
challenge Brother Starcher's post because I am trying to get at the basis
of his belief system.

I came in from the outside of this movement and have personally
experienced some of the things you speak of, so I understand your desire
for change.

I hope this clears up what I was trying to say, also, in rereading what
you sent , I can see how it may have looked to you. Again, I apologize.

Sis. Yohnk
