Baptism -- water baptism by complete immersion in the name of Jesus --
is a necessary condition for salvation. This does in no way imply
that it is a sufficient condition: one must also repent and be filled
with the Holy Ghost, and live according to the teachings of new
testament Christianity, as revealed in the letters to the churches.
This is what we call a holy and overcoming life.
