Salvation the Bible Way

This is a brief study off the top of my head and is by no means
exhaustive. For sake of time, I am quoting portions of scripture that
can be looked up in your concordance if you wish to verify.

We must repent to be saved ( Unless you repent you shall all likewise
perish.)

We must be baptized to be saved. (Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned.)

We must recieve the Holy Ghost. ( If any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of His.)

We must follow the death (repentance, die to ourselves.) burial ( We are
buried with him in baptism.) And resurrection (Holy Ghost and walking in
newness of life)of Jesus Christ.

Types and shadows of the old testament: We must pass the alter ( death
and repentance). We must pass the brazen laver (baptism). We must enter
into the Holiest of Holies which undoubtably represents the Holy Ghost
baptism which is the total surrounding and infilling of the presence of
God. The veil was rent in twain when Jesus died and the Holy Ghost was
not given until Jesus was glorified. ( John 7:38,39)

Peter (not Luke) was given the keys to the kingdom of heaven and
whatsoever he bound would be bound and whatsoever he loosed would be
loosed. Peter was used to bring salvation to the Jews(Acts 2:38) The
samaritans and the Gentiles. ( You will find that Peter spoke the
salvation message to all three groups in the book of Acts.)

The books of Luke and Acts were written at different times because (as my
husband pointed out to me) the Book of Acts begins with "The former
treatise have I made" and I believe it was stated before in the
higher-fire forum that they were written as one book.

Our sins are not washed away or remitted until baptism (Acts 2: 38).

We are not adopted into the kingdom until we recieve the Holy Ghost. ( We
recieve the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry "Abba, Father".)

The Israelites left Egypt (repentence) went thru the Red Sea (Baptism
1Corinthians 10:2) and entered Canaan ( Holy Ghost baptism).

Noah was saved by water as baptism also now saves us.(1 Peter 3:20, 21)

We must believe that Jesus is the Messiah (God manifest in the flesh) in
order to be saved. ( Unless ye believe that I am He, ye shall die in
yours sins.)

Is God not capable of leading those that he dearly loves and died for to
the knowledge of the truth? Of course he is. All this talk of not
knowing what salvation is grieves me.
The spirit of the age is to love and accept everybody and to do anything
less is judgementalism and rudeness. However, if they persecuted Jesus,
they will also persecute us. We should not invite persecution, but when
we are persecuted for simply believing what we believe then blessed are
we because we are counted worthy to suffer for His Great Name.
